Client Transition Notice: ISO 21001:2025

This clause introduces the official publication of ISO 21001:2025 and its significance as the second edition of the Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS) standard, replacing ISO 21001:2018.

Why the Standard Has Changed?

As the educational landscape evolves driven by digital transformation, the need for greater inclusivity, and a global focus on sustainability the ISO 21001 standard has been technically revised to ensure it remains the benchmark for educational excellence.

Key Enhancements in ISO 21001:2025

• Enhanced Learner-Centricity:

Stronger emphasis on understanding and responding to learner feedback and outcomes rather than just administrative processes.

• Digital & Strategic Integration:

New recommendations for digital delivery, quality assurance in virtual/hybrid environments, and ethical AI integration.

• Inclusion & Equity:

Reinforced requirements for supporting vulnerable learners and ensuring accessibility is embedded in the design phase.

• Risk-Based Governance:

Elevates risk management from a operational task to a core leadership responsibility, addressing modern threats like digital exclusion and funding volatility.

• Sustainability Alignment:

Deeper alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
